Top Ten Things to Do Glasgow 2 Years, 7 Months ago Karma: 3
Just tried the 'things to do' search using my post code and got 28 items found. Unfortunately they were all libraries.Thats poor

So to get the ball rolling heres my top ten in no particular order.

10. Whale of a Time Soft Play. (Pollokshaw Rd)
Entry under £5 and unlimited play.

09. Pollok Park - Great big playground at Haggs Castle end.
Highland cows, Clydesdale horses etc FREE

08. Pollok Library - Attached to the lesuire pool and cafe.

07. Pollok Lesuire pool. Kids love swimming and its always
really warm unlike some other pools, even in winter.

06. Transport Museum. FREE entry and always does for a couple of hours when its wet.

05. The Glasshouse in Victoria Park again FREE entry with lizards, snakes, spiders, parrots, tortoise...you get the idea.

04. Science Centre www.gsc.org too much too list.

03. AMF Bowling Springfield Quay. Toddlers will find it easy if you use the ramp and lane bumpers.

02.Barshaw park. Little kiddy-on road for bikes and trikes. Great nature corner with peacocks, hens, donkeys and things all FREE

01. A Bit further away but the Farm Park in Ayr is a favourite of ours. You can spend a full day playing both inside and out.

I'd be interested in others top tens always after new ideas.

Absolutely brilliant list!

We were always hoping parents would add their own and our list was just a starter for 10.

If you want you can add your own suggestions here

www.infoscotland.com/playtalkread/things-to-do/add

and you'll get your top ten added so other people who search in your area will find your cracking suggestions.

Thanks again for the feedback.

Thanks so much for the posts of things to do in Glasgow. I'm looking after my nephews in a few weeks and was wondering what on earth I was going to do with them. There's some great suggestions in your list that I'm going to follow up.

Any other suggestions of what I can do with boys aged between 3 and 8 in and around Glasgow would be welcome?

I should have a car but may have to rely on public transport.

Thanks
Helen
