weekend_parentsFinding fun things to do when you haven’t seen your kids all week shouldn’t be too difficult! But if you’re stuck for ideas, try asking your kids to help you make a list of things they’d like to do, so you can get an idea of what games they’re into at the moment.

To get the best out of your precious days with your kids, it’s an idea to keep things simple and spend some one-to-one time with them doing crafty stuff  together – that way you can chat while you create some masterpieces to pin onto the fridge door!

In the first few years of life, your child’s brain will grow to three quarters its adult size, so keeping them busy helps them to get a brilliant start in life. Of course, when you’re done, it’s always good to let off steam outdoors– climbing and running helps them with co-ordination, and it gets you some fresh air too. So try putting your wellies on and getting stuck in – you won’t want the weekend to end!
