This simple game makes smiles appear – by magic! And it helps your child to learn that things still exist even when they can't see them.

All you do is get your wee one’s attention with a small teddy.

Holding the bear in your hand, cover it with a tea towel. Then ask "Where's teddy gone?" Try to get your baby to pull the cloth off and say: "There he is! There’s teddy!" when the toy is revealed. Repeat this until your wee one gets the idea that teddy is always under the cloth. Then just put your hand under the cloth and hide teddy behind your back. When the cloth is pulled away, teddy isn’t there!
