Junk skittles
What you need:
Empty plastic bottles
Toilet roll tubes
Pair of socks
What to do:
Empty plastic bottles and toilet roll tubes make great skittles – just line ‘em up and knock ‘em down! Try putting them about a metre away from where your toddler is standing. Then you can use a rolled up pair of socks as a ball, and take turns rolling it at the skittles. You could even count each skittle as it goes down. If the game gets too easy, maybe you could put the skittles on the other side of the room and try it again.
As your toddler gets better at the game they improve their hand-and-eye coordination – you'll be proudly amazed by how fast they develop!
