Get stuck in!
Puffy magic paint What you need: 1 tablespoon self-raising flour Some different food colouring Empty yoghurt pots Cardboard A microwave
What to do: Puffy magic doesn’t just expand paints – it helps expand minds. It’s easy and both you and your wee one get to try something different. You even have a strange new experience to chat about.
Mix the flour and salt with a little cold water, and stir until the mixture becomes a smooth paste. Put a little of the mixture in each yoghurt pot, then stir in a few drops of the different food colouring – one colour for each pot – to create different coloured paints.
Your toddler simply finger-paints the mixture onto some cardboard. Now it’s time for the magic bit. When you microwave the cardboard for about 10 seconds, on a high setting, the paint comes out puffy! |
