Free with every tub of margarine – a margarine tub! Did you know margarine tubs make great building blocks? They’re almost always the same size no matter which brands you buy, and they stack together like building blocks. Best of all, they’re free.

So, keep your old margarine tubs and use them for stacking games. (Of course, you’ll want to wash and dry them – another great game where your wee one can help you!) Then you can show your little one to be a builder and stack them up in big towers. They’re light enough to be knocked over or even thrown without causing any damage and they’re a great way of building baby’s co-ordination.
