Paper Plate Pumpkin Faces
Witch/Wizard hat Feel like dressing up on the scariest night of the year? You and your toddler can make a witches or wizard’s hat with cone of paper and some sellotape. You can decorate it with stars and moons, or any shiny sticky paper you have. To complete the look, your wee one could wear a long coat and use the sweeping brush for a broomstick! Now all you need to do is practice your magic…
Witches Bubbly Brew Hubble Bubble Toil and Trouble! It’s easy to make your toddler their very own witches cauldron. Simply mix vinegar and bicarbonate of soda in a bowl with some green food colouring. It’ll fizz and bubble just like a real witches cauldron! Do magic spells but remember, please don’t drink it - you might turn into a frog!

Making some scary Halloween decorations is sure to keep wee hands busy. Why not try making pumpkin faces with ordinary paper plates? Just cover them with orange paint on both sides. Then, with black paper, cut out triangles to make eyes, nose and a smiley mouth – or just draw on with black felt tip.
