After feeding but before they start to nap, why not take a moment with your wee one – cuddle them close and share a story.

They may not know what you’re saying but they’ll love hearing the way your voice changes – higher, lower, softer, quieter, happier, brighter. They may want to touch your face to try and work out what you’re feeling – or they may want to discover what this new colourful thing in front of them is.
