Birthdays and Xmas can be so much fun with wee ones around – you have to laugh when they want to play with the box more than their presents (remember to take a picture of that!). That’s why a book is a great idea for a present – it doesn’t cost much, can be personalised with a message and can be kept forever. After all, you never tire of a book you love.

If you’re a regular at the library, you'll know the kind of books your wee one likes. Then when friends and family ask for suggestions of what books to get, you can let them know what your wee one likes – perhaps books about animals or they might prefer fairytales. That will make the choosing even easier.
