‘Ooooh, look at this.’

It sounds exciting already, doesn’t it? Before you start reading a book to your wee one, capture their imagination by only showing them the cover.

Point out any pictures, tell them the title, see if they have any ideas about what the story is about. (Even if they already know the story, it can be great hearing them try and explain it!)
