For wee ones, bedtime can seem so boring. (They’re yet to learn how nice a lie-in is too!) But a book at bedtime can convince them getting their pjs on and going under cover is a good thing. Sometimes you might not even make it through the whole story before they’re off to the land of nod – and then you get to chill out too.

If they need a nap in the afternoon, a story can often turn them into your own little Sleeping Beauty.
