Say what you see You’re a great teacher – even if you don’t realise it. For example, at the bus stop, you’ve probably said to your wee one: “Oh, look, here comes the bus.” You might think you just say what you see, but that’s a surprisingly effective way to teach. You’re helping your baby link the sound of words with things they can see. It’s even better if you can repeat the word a few times: |



“Can you see the bus? Look, the bus is stopping. Yes, we’re getting on the bus.”
